SKY 3D THE NEXT DIMENSION

Cinema watching experience will never be the same. Every once in a while arrives a technology that sets everything apart from itself. That changes the working of things. That changes what is old and prepares for the new to set its feet in.

With the arrival of Sky 3D Technology this year, the whole world has their eyes upon this revolutionary technology what with after tasting blood from watching “Avatar” in the theatres. Hardly has it been some time since Sky launched High Definition which was hailed as the next generation in TV viewing bringing ultimate digital video and audio home. But now with the entrance of 3D, it wouldn’t be surprising to see people opt for the technology more and more in the coming years.

The only catch being people having to buy a special 3D TV set as well in order to get these 3D services in their living room. But with more and more TV vendors already starting with the production of these new age 3D TV sets, there is no telling what would be the scenario in the next few years. Watching old classics like Jaws as well as new block busters like Avatar, and Up would be one defining experience.

The fact that Sky 3D is the only service providing it to subscribers is again testimonial of how Sky has always managed to maintain a great distance between itself and its competitors in the race while leading. Although a goggle is required to be worn while watching 3D TV, this too might change with time and needing no 3D goggles to watch the vivid and awesome 3D images. For once, if they have reached your living room, there is no saying as to what times or rather 3D times will come in the coming years.

3D TV sets emerging from brands like Panasonic, Samsung, LG etc. supports Sky 3D TV technology. This allows you to watch images in 3D as well as HD. 3D TV sets offered from these brands also come with accessories like 3D glasses for better 3D experience.
